ToolGuyd reports Milwaukee’s 3494-23R M12 three-tool combo kit is back at a promotional price of $199 for the 2026 holiday shopping season. The report also says a two-tool combo kit is back at $149. ToolGuyd describes the three-tool kit as including a brushed 3/8-inch ratchet.
Milwaukee’s M12 3494-23R three-tool combo kit is back at a reported $199 promotional price for the 2026 holiday shopping season, according to ToolGuyd. The report describes the kit as including a cordless ratchet. ToolGuyd also reports that a two-tool combo kit is back at $149.
ToolGuyd says the three-tool package includes Milwaukee’s compact brushless M12 drill and compact brushless impact driver, along with an older brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet. The report also lists two 2Ah batteries, a charger and a tool bag among the kit’s contents. The source does not identify a retailer or provide a direct listing in the supplied material.
ToolGuyd reports prices of $199 for the three-tool kit and $149 for a two-tool combo kit. The source does not specify the contents of the two-tool kit, so it does not establish which items distinguish the packages. ToolGuyd describes the ratchet in the three-tool kit as a brushed model, rather than one of Milwaukee’s newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets.
ToolGuyd characterizes the kit as a holiday promotion and says there will be plenty of promotional combo kits throughout the season. It also advises that shoppers need not rush, arguing that these deals do not usually sell out quickly. That is the publisher’s assessment, not a guarantee of stock or availability at any particular retailer.
A $50 Choice for the Ratchet
ToolGuyd frames the choice for shoppers as whether a cordless ratchet is worth the reported $50 difference between the listed prices. The report recommends considering the three-tool kit for buyers who want a ratchet and says shoppers who do not need one can consider the $149 two-tool kit. The supplied source does not specify the two-tool kit’s contents.
ToolGuyd notes that the included ratchet is an older brushed-motor model and is not as powerful or feature-rich as the latest M12 Fuel brushless versions. The article says brushed models tend to offer good value, while recognizing that the right choice depends on a buyer’s needs. These are the publisher’s product assessments; the supplied source does not include independent test results or a detailed feature comparison.

What the Report Says About the Kits
ToolGuyd reports a price of $149 for a two-tool combo kit and $199 for the three-tool kit. The source describes the three-tool kit as including a compact brushless drill, a compact brushless impact driver and a 3/8-inch ratchet. It also lists two 2Ah batteries, a charger and a bag among the contents. The source does not identify the two-tool kit’s contents or establish which items differ between the kits.
ToolGuyd says it prefers the ergonomics of the compact drill and driver listed for the three-tool kit to those of M12 Fuel versions, while acknowledging that the tools are not as powerful. That comparison reflects the publication’s stated preference, not a specification supplied here. The source also says there will be plenty of promotional combo kits throughout the holiday season, but does not give dates or prices for other offers.

Retailer and Sale Dates Unspecified
The supplied report does not name the retailer carrying the promotion, provide a product-page link, or state when the offer begins or ends. It also does not confirm whether the reported prices are available nationwide, whether inventory is limited, or whether the kits’ contents vary by seller. Shoppers should check the listing and terms at the retailer before purchasing.
The report identifies the ratchet as a brushed 3/8-inch model but does not provide its exact model number or detailed specifications. It also gives no independently verified performance measurements. As a result, the price and kit contents here should be understood as details reported by ToolGuyd, not as a separately verified retailer offer.
Check Listings Through the Holidays
Readers considering the set can compare retailer listings for the reported $149 two-tool kit and $199 three-tool package, checking the model numbers, included accessories, price and stock before ordering. ToolGuyd says shoppers who do not need a ratchet can consider the two-tool kit; the source does not specify that kit’s contents.
ToolGuyd expects more promotional combo kits during the 2026 holiday season, but the source does not identify specific future deals or dates. Whether these prices remain available, change, or sell out will depend on retailer listings and inventory, neither of which is specified in the report.
